Wow you know a very interesting story! Yes, that is a famous tale and the magical plum tree is in Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka, Kyushu. It is called TOBI UME. I was told that when he was exiled to Kyushu, his beloved plum tree uprooted itself and followed him, so he awoke one morning to see it growing in his Kyushu garden.
